[2.0.10] Multiplayer Connection Causes Crash

1. What did you do?
My friend and I tried joining together via multiplayer. I was hosting, he was connecting to my machine.

2. What happened?
Factorio freezes for my friend trying to connect to my computer (see factorio-current.log). No problem occurs on my computer when he tries to connect, though I never see a connection message in the chat for him attempting to join. (My log is factorio-previous.log)

3. What did you expect to happen?
I expected my friend to join my computer without issue.

4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
This has always happened since the first release of Factorio Space Age. We have tried hosting on my computer every time a new version gets released, but he fails to connect every time. We have previously done a game of Factorio before Space Age released on my computer, and that worked without any problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Host uses a windows 11 machine, connector uses a MacOS version 10.14.6
2. Windows 11 user hosts a multiplayer session (we tried private with no password, but public hosting has the same effect)
3. MacOS user connects to Windows 11 user's machine using Steam "invite to game"

Also, I'd like to add that we can't simply host on my friend's MacOS. His computer isn't able to keep up with the growing scale of our factory (on top of a multiplayer connection), which also gives me some really terrible rubber-banding.
