Worth using Trains even on Default World Settings?

I'm not sure how decent ores are further out and such in default. I'm just wondering if I ignore doing Rail World and go default, do you guys still use trains or is the ore veins just too small at that point?

You risk re-starting a holy war with this question.

Let's just say there are proponents on both sides of the debate. I imagine it largely depends on the player and the size of the factory. Some people play with trains for fun, some like spaghetti bases, etc. Do what you think is most fun.

I can say that for me, personally, the throughput of trains once you get to the point of seeking out your third metal deposit is hard to beat. They scale better. Again, this is for my play-style and what I find enjoyable.

Pipes got very nerfed. And overall oil looks tad more scarce on Nauvis.
Unless you'll bump onto a well-defendable cluster of 10+ oil spills somewhere near your starting location, prepare the trains. You'll need these.

Thanks, I also am not asking about Trains vs Belts, But rather saying are trains still worth using on default word vs the rail world.
