I cannot find the settings for a toggle or to disable it. I really hope its not a forced "always on" because the use case for this is pretty niche imo. If it is forced, anyone know a mod to disable it? Its super unproductive...

Seconding this. This used to be a toggle under Settings > Interface. Would be great to have it back, as I keep trying to drag out 3 or 4 belts at once, and it's way more painful now.

My friends and I have been playing and enjoying the new Space Age DLC, which has been a great update. However I cannot for the life of me find the setting to turn off smart belt placement. It seems to have dropped off the interface settings menu at some point in the 2.0 development.

Please put this back! Makes building busses so much more difficult when you can't drag belts up and down while keeping them horizontal.

Why would this feature have been removed at all? It's a players choice?

I'll add my vote to request having the option to disable 'lock belt to straight line' and have it return as a separate option from 'smart belt dragging' as well.

'Smart Belt Dragging' always annoyed me and was perma-off, but 'lock to straight' was something I would toggle based on the task of the moment.

Please reconsider it's removal as an option.
