Just started new save on 2.0.8 with space age enabled. Within the first hour of playing the game completely freezes responding to no input and couldn't be exited by even ctrl+alt+delete requiring a force machine restart. The sound kept going despite everything else freezing although even the sound had a couple of moments where it just turned into a buzz for a few seconds.

I think I was just building belts/inserters/furnaces or something, nothing special for under an hour in. Not looking at stats as I know another report was.

Attached is the log file and the autosave from a few minutes (maybe 2-3) before the crash. Not sure either is much use.

So the whole computer froze not just the game?

Yes, so could be the fault of something else on the PC but have never had this PC crash at all before and I've had it a good while so assumed the game might have had some involvement given this release is comparatively untested at this stage. I am on a nearly year old graphics driver so given that the display totally froze it could have been interaction with that, so I'll get that updated and see if the issue occurs again or if I just got unlucky with something

Yes, if the computer itself freezes then there is a hardware/os/driver issue, see 114778.

I got the same issue, I was thinking it's was because of OBS Studio but it's just froze the computer without it running. I am not able to reproduce the issue each time. And sometime it's even on the title screen.

I suppose there is something wrong then the game is not focused but again, can't reproduce every time. I just restart the computer and it's working fine.

Everything on my computer is updated and his spec is way above the requirement. Really no idea
