Missing option to enable turret shooting alert

From changelog:
Disabled the turret shooting alert by default.
The alert is disabled, I just tested it. But how do I re-enable it? I don't see anything in the interface settings or anywhere else. And wording of the changelog implies we should be able to enable it.

Is this documented anywhere in-game? I was wondering the same thing, and I feel like "disabled by default" typically means "there is an option you can flip to re-enable" (and settings -> interface would be the obvious place to look), not "if you go on the wiki and search there is an arcane incantation you can use to make then show up again."

I also spent a hot second combing through all of the settings menus trying to find how to turn them back on, before the right combination of google keywords turned up this thread.

This is something I absolutely want to turn on, especially for coop games with new players; "you are being attacked over here" is incredibly important information to be able to go investigate and handle the issue. Once your turret setup runs out of ammo and the bugs start destroying your turrets and whatever's beyond them, that's far too late to effectively act on it.

If we can't have this turned on by default, can we at least have a setting for it, so that when I introduce new players to the game, it doesn't have to always come with "also run this cheaty-looking console command to make sure the game tells you if you're under attack"?
