[2.0.7] Crash on start, macos 10.14.6

After updating to 2.0.7 game always crashes while the loading screen displays 29% completion "Building sprite atlas".
It crashes also when I disable the Space Age expansion. As I had originally downloaded the game from Steam I also downloaded it directly from the Factorio website and it also crashes.
I tried following the instructions in this forum and downloaded the config.ini and the same crash occurred.
Please help as I cannot plan anymore!

Fixed it after applying solution in other post (viewtopic.php?f=58&t=116216&p=621305&hi ... .7#p621305). That is, I just deleted "/Users/username/Library/Application Support/factorio" folder. I have the folder still in the recycle bin if any Dev wants to look at it.
