One question

Back when I first started playing this game forever ago there was a limit to the size of map you could have. Is this still the case or did they ever get infinitely generating maps implemented?
The limit is still there, maxing out at 2Mx2M tiles

The fun fact is that initially, the map was not limited (well, it was, but only by RAM usage).
