Posting as new bug, since old one is incorrectly classified as idea/suggestion.

Thanks for the report however this is currently how it works. The GUI buttons do not listen to the entity copy/paste hotkeys and only listen to the transfer ones. As such they listen for the ones that closely mimic the entity copy/paste but if re-mapped then they will be re-mapped.

There are no plans to change that, that I'm aware of.
