Improving ergonomics – Moving objects

When moving items from storage to inventory and vice versa, with the Shift key held down. You can move a separate bundle of items.

I suggest moving objects, not by pressing the left mouse button, but by clamping it.

This will allow you to move the desired number of packs in one action.
By holding down Shift and the Left mouse button, and simply swiping the mouse over the desired slots.

Just imagine. There will be no need to click on each pack separately!

There exist already a couple other modifiers. One by using the ctrl key, it will shift over all stacks of that item type. Additionally, you can use the shift click on an empty slot to shift over everything.

This is certainly convenient. But my version is more universal.
Since it allows you to move as many objects as you need in one movement. Regardless of what type these items are.

I feel like that would only work for situations where you want to move some stacks (but not all) and they are all in contiguous slots. As only the player's inventory is sorted, this isn't guaranteed to be as convenient as you'd think.

This said, I'm not really against the suggestion per say, but rather was pointing out the other inventory moving modifiers in case you weren't aware (as you only mentioned the shift modifier).
