Pre-populated settings when updating blueprints

TL;DR
Create an entity to provide pre-populated settings when (re-)creating blueprints
What ?
Create a way (a special entity for example) to allow entering default values to populate the blueprint options. This entity could be optionally placed somewhere into an area which encompasses the creation you want to blueprint. When capturing the blueprint, if one of these entities is found, the values captured in this entity would be used to pre-populate the fields in the blueprint creation screen, including name, icon(s), filters, etc.
Why ?
I (and probably many others) frequently make many small improvements to a blueprint, and each time I recapture the blueprint, I have to recreate the title, the icons(s), the filters, and all the various options. It would save time and reduce mistakes if these values could be selected once, and used to update the blueprint definition.

How is this different from the "Select new contents for blueprint," button?

Sorry, I could have explained it as a nice feature you were missing, instead of asking a question that made it sound obvious! I thought I was misunderstanding the suggestion. I'm glad you found a solution.
