[1.1.87] Game opening with 1080p resolution on 2K screen

I have two monitors, one with 1080p and another at 2K. Look at the screenshots on both screens. On the bigger screen it is just stretched. In fact the visibility on the bigger screen is a tiny bit lower than on the smaller screen

I also tried to change from screen extend to display only on the big screen, it is still the same. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, again the same

Please help me with this. It is weird to have lesser visibility with a bigger screen.

It is clearly running in 2560x1440 and not 1080p and is not stretched either. The minimal zoom depends on an absolute tile value, so you don't see more just because you change the resolution. You can change the minimal and maximal zoom values with mods.

Factorio is designed to show 200 tiles to the left and 200 tiles to the right at maximum zoom out, no matter the screen resolution. So on a bigger screen, you will see just more detail, but not more items.

(This concept is a bit unfortunate, because if you have a ultra widescreen monitor with aspect ratio 21:9 or even 32:9 instead of 16:9, you will see less to the top and to the bottom. You will see the most items, if you run Factorio on a quadratic aspect ratio, because in this case you will also see 200 tiles to the top and to the bottom. I use Attila's Zoom Mod to restore an appropriate viewing distance with my 32:9 monitor.)

That's a bit disappointing but thanks for all the help. I finally got to know that it doesn't depend on the resolution then
