In the map editor, the map is paused by default, so if you want to generate the map you will need to run the game tick for a little while so it can generate the map
In the editor panel go to the `time` tab and press play to run the ticks

This is what i get when i pick for an example the scenario "lack of space". I can immediatelly start to edit the map without to press start or anything else. Just picking map editor and scenario and lets go. This works also by every other scenario. Except for the player vs player scenario

When i start player vs player (although its only me, there is not a second player yet, i just want to edit a map for this mode) its this what i get:

I can go on the time section and press play, but nothing changes:

And when i press the green start button, i get to chose a side. But i dont want to chose anything, i want to edit a map...

But if i chose a side, doesnt matter if player or spectator, i get to the game and all editing stuff are gone...

So, anyone can try and tell me how i can edit this thing?

After choosing a team you can go back to the editor using the console command `/editor`
