Hey Guys,
I played Factorio a few years back and I am looking for a mod I had back then:
- You could place factories to "produce" resources with...
the mining of resources wasn´t necessary, you could just place a "factory" that produced every resource available and you had to choose which one you´d like to be spawning out. You weren´t depending on resource patches (which still existed if I`m right...)
can you tell me the name of the mod?! Thanks

No its neither void miners nor space block... the graphics of the mod matched the vanilla games graphics... if i remember correctly it had "production-buildings" with different tiers

Are you thinking of Dark Matter Replicators? Replicators can make items using just electricity, and the textures for them was basically just the vanilla lab. Resources required tier 1 replicators, more complicated items required higher tiers.

There's ports to newer versions by others.

Dark-matter-replicators get closer, but it´s not the same...
There was no new resource, you could build this resource-producing factorys right away.
The modder back then described his mod as a OCD-friendly way to play factorio because you could basically build your base the way you wanted without the limitations of being bind to resource-patches... you could just build your layout the way you wanted
I think the mod used a very similar optic like the vanilla assembling machine
