the spaceship console says that i need to contain it in order to use it, but i checked that it's fully enclosed. images below, maybe find some solutions?

nevermind, i fixed it

For others who may find this thread, diagonal connections don't count. There is containment on the two marked tiles, but not on either of their orthogonal neighbors.
