The train is trying to enter an already occupied depot station.

Why is the train trying to stop at an already occupied depot station? There are free depot stations, although they are quite far away.
You forgot to put a chain signal before the fork so the train pathed to or through the station and now it can't change it's mine.
Once that is fixed the train should wait a bit and then pick a different depot station.
You can improve a bit on that by setting the train limit for the train stop to 1. That doesn't prevent trains pathing through the station so you still need the chain signal.
PS: With that layout you also can't add a signal inside the station so 2 trains would fit, not risk free.
