I've been trying for a while, but I can't fix these rail junctions:

Trains sometimes get stuck in a deadlock there, and it's pretty annoying. I would like to keep most of my infrastructure intact, so do as little changing around as necessary.

You need more signals. One set of signals for every train that could possibly get stuck at the junction.

If your track is not long enough to fit that many signals, don't use a 4-way junction.

Maybe it's because I didn't set up my tracks right in the first place... I have no designated this way/that way rails, so they end up almost slamming into eachother, and end up in a faceoff.
