I just caught myself hitting 'q' in gimp multiple times to deselect things and wondered why it didn't work, until i realized i'm not in Factorio. Actually after thinking about it i'm not even sure what my tired brain tried to achieve. I either wanted to drop the tool i was using or cancel the selection.
It's just programmed in.
Please tell my i'm not alone.

work-around solution is to stop playing other games...

i often use alt and wonder why this does not give debug screen or display contents(either in minecraft or satisfactory,dsp has one builtin)

Under the influence of factorio I actually went to study computer science. That way I can mod it without feeling like a total retard.

Definitely not alone. I can't tell you how many times I unintentionally press Q in Project Zomboid and screw myself over.

I had to rebind the 'picker' to to Q in Dyson Sphere Program. Unplayable otherwise.
