So I wanted to create a modded Factorio server:
created a new one added the mods doesn't work
remove the mods, still the same error
generate a completely new map with base settings still not working
creating a new server with a fresh map still doesn't work
trying to start an old vanilla server, still the same problem
updating Ubuntu to the newest version, same issue
rolling back the host VM to the point where the before mentioned server was still running the same ******* error
reinstalled the game, still not working

btw the conection is established i need to put in the pasword for the server and all
something i noticed too was that my game wont show up in the lan games tab
so what's wrong with my game/server : (

Are you by any chance running on Hyper-V? There's an issue with one of the recent updates breaks networking.
