I just bought the game, and upon trying to launch it, I get an error saying:

"
Couldn't create lock file
C:\Program Files\Factorio\.lock: 5.
Is another instance already running?
"

There is no other instance running. I've tried deleting and re-installing twice, the first by deleting the "Factorio" folder in my program files, and the second time by going through windows's Add or Remove Programs page. Any help is appreciated.

Does the .zip version work?

Isn’t there something about in Win 10 regular user accounts can’t create/delete files in the Program Files folder?
