Base game, no mods installed (achievement hunting).

Dumps:

Doesn't seem to be a pattern to it that I can figure out. If I leave it idle, I can expect it to crash when I come back to it. Occasionally it crashes while saving, which is especially annoying.

Could be a hardware issue I suppose (which hardware?), but I've played hours of No Man's Sky with no crashes...

I've turned on verbose logging and log saving statistics for the next crash.

Those crashes are unrelated, so this is a system stability issue. Remove any overclock of CPU or ram that you might have.

I factory defaulted the BIOS and ran memtest86 for an hour with no errors. Ran Factorio again for over 2 hours, then crashed on autosave. Direct link, https://www.dropbox.com/sh/le03o2nragp9 ... tracking=1

This looks similar to the other 'random' ryzen crashes people have had in the past and continue to randomly have: viewtopic.php?p=561290#p561290

Several more crashes today. Often while idle - this time I was away from my PC putting my kid to bed while bots are building solar, and it crashed on an autosave.

Check out 100589, there are some measures that might help in your case as well.
