[1.1.56] Automatic update to 1.1.57 fails - "LuaForce.html has unexpected content"

I have version 1.1.56 installed (after update from version about 0.17), and enabled experimental releases. Start the game. Game offers to update to 1.1.57. Confirm; the update package is downloaded, but the update fails with the following error: "Checking update packages failed: File C:/Program Files/Factorio/data/../doc-html/LuaForce.html has unexpected content".
