[1.1.50] Inconsistent overlapping of train icons and tags in map view

I noticed this bug in multiple places, but i reproduced it in a new default world, see the attached image.
1. Place a train with multiple "parts" (locomotive or wagon)
2. Go to map view
3. Place an item tag on top of the train icon
I would expect that the train icon is partly hidden by the tag, just like all other objects on the map like buildings. But now only the lines between wagons are hidden, but the wagons themselves are on top of the tag, which looks weird. I expected that either the entire train (lines and wagons) would be hidden by the tag, or the entire train would be displayed on top.
Of course this is a minor issue, but still something worth mentioning.
