Hello everyone,

Could somebody please make a mod to make colors of rail blocks more visible at night?

I have a hard time to see the colors with night vision:
Without night vision it is better near light, but worse in total darkness
Or can somebody guide me to the right place where I could change these colors myself?

The colors used are stored in data.raw.['utility-constants']['default'].rail_segment_colors

Seems to be an array of RGBA values that determine the colors used, presumably the game uses them in order as needed. There's seven defined. Not much info about it though: https://wiki.factorio.com/Prototype/Uti ... ent_colors

I doubt it's possible to do anything more than that with them via mod.

So I changed the colors to have better contrast (in my eyes at least). It's not great, but it's better.
The transition from yellow to green is worst in these new colors, but it doesn't get any better than this I think.
