I don't think those two pictures are 1rst degree.

I think it is somewhat accurate depiction of how in the west the ukrainian army is considered heroic and supported like the avengers that are fierce freedom fighters. And that at the same time in Russia they describe their army like it's a just some peaceful old man that is friend with animals and nature and that no-one should worry about because they are not at war.

Not every conflict will be 2 different symetric narrative. In 1980 when Irak invaded Iran, the Iraki where minimizing their losses to try and look strong and decisive, while in Iran they where exagerating their losses so that people would emphasize with them being attacked. Millions of dead humans.

i'm not sure i see any one winning anything there, with losing the most is Ukraine, then Russia, then the rest of the world that need food or gas. maybe if your job is to make weapons and you do not do the war yourself you make money ?

Russia is a banana country, it mainly supplies only resources.
If Europe replaces Russia, then Russia will sell to those countries from which Europe has taken resources.
But there will be less competition and more prices for Europe

This is not a war between Russia and Ukraine. This is a US-China war. The United States pushed Ukraine into the clutches of Russia in order for Europe to unite around the United States. Judging by the comments here, it worked.

Germany tried to withdraw software from the US

And now they are all back to the United States, and Russia is now an ally of China
