I''m all in for a solution that allows me to browse this forum via my phone. Please implement either Tapatalk or make this forum mobile responsive. From a marketing standpoint it's a no brainer to offer a mobile solution for the factorio community to communicate with each other. It's not about those who already engage via desktop, it's about those who don't because there is no mobile solution.

I mean, the forum isn't entirely horrible on mobile. I rarely access it that way, and the GUI is quite small, but it's not unusable - you can zoom in, and most of you probably have larger screens than the iPod 4 (iOS 6, for those of you who were wondering - and no, I don't use it much).

It is horrible if you use it regulary.

You're the only one who seems to be so vocal about it Stein. One person shouting loudly does not a common opinion make.

I use it all the time. I'd guess at least 30 minutes a day. I'm on mobile right now, to be exact. And it's bearable. It could of course be a bit nicer, but I prefer having all functions over having slightly bigger text.

Not recommended because of this:

My main objection: the read contacts right.
my contacts have never agreed to sharing their contact details, and tapatalk sells the info for advertisements and (in app) purchases.

In the EU tis is probably against the GDPR(new EU wide privacy regulation) since today.

Tapatalk wants to have these rights on your devices:
find accounts on the device
read your contacts
approximate location (network-based)
precise location (GPS and network-based)
read phone status and identity
read the contents of your USB storage
modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
view Wi-Fi connections
read phone status and identity
receive data from Internet
view network connections
full network access
run at startup
use accounts on the device
control vibration
prevent device from sleeping
install shortcuts

Is a bit much...

I completely agree with this one.

The forum is mobile responsive now, we won't be adding or using Tapatalk, I'm going to close this thread
