Looks useful. might be a bit OP, tho. As It might change the balance with laser passive power drain. Not like there aren't other ways of doing it, but still.

Since FFF 445 , it was revealed that radars now emit alerts when they detect creation of new ennemy nests and it felt to me like one step closer to this suggestion, there are signals for nests and biters already used for setting turret priority that could be emited by default by the radar.

The form it could take in-game could be as "simple" as a pulse emited by the radar, if you checked the tickbox, when the alert for the player is emited in the GUI.

Maybe it's naive and the game doesn't have an easy way to tell which radar triggered the alert when they are scanning outside of their permanent reveal mode for example, but i thought it was worth mentionning in the context of space age and the addition of captured biter nest and elevated rails and possibility to remove landfill. Together that creates possibilities if not incentives for players to avoid a full scorched earth expansion, and leave some close by nests "to be captured later", when in a favourable location.

This means you don't necessarily have a full coverage of artillery everywhere, not until you are past Gleba, and even then you may want to be careful to make sure the static artillery wouldn't further destroy the biter-eggs producing area in case of bioflux shortages, and rely more on artillery trains.

Being able to read from radars when new ennemy nests are created would allow dispatching of artillery trains "on demand", or "smartly" instead of rigid regular shedule, if you position the train station quite in the rear, you could make sure only the newly detected base is targeted AND only when necessary in an automated way.
