So my idea here. My bp has for example 10 belts 2 inserter 1 chest and 1 assembler
My idea is. If i put the blueprint in the requester chest, the items in the bp will be delivered to the requester chest by bots.
Thx for reading

Blueprint components copy-paste or exchange string

TL;DR
A way to quickly extract all the components of a blueprint and set them as (personal) logistic requests, combinator output signals or infinity chest filters... and everything else that could act the same way.
What ?
When inspecting a blueprint, there is a sorted list of the components for that particular blueprint.
Currently we can copy-paste whole recipes from assemblers into requester chests.
It could be neat if we could quickly extract the components of a blueprint and put them as filters for chests or logistic requests.
Maybe it could be implemented the same way copy-pasting recipes/settings works now.
Another option I thought of was something similar to how exchange strings work. Whatever the best balanced option would be, I guess. I imagine that adding more buttons to the UI can make it look more complex, so I don't know how to consider that.
What could it work with?
- Logistic request slots
- Requester chest logistic request slots
- Buffer chest logistic request slots
- Storage chest logistic filter slot (one item)
- Spidertron Personal logistics slots
- Constant combinator output signals
- (maybe) the whole contents of a logistics network (Logistic system storage values)
- ...more...?
Example 1
Logistic request
- Select a large blueprint
- open inventory
- <special key combo click> into inventory sets requests to blueprint components
Chest filters
- Select a large blueprint
- open inventory
- <special key combo click> into inventory sets requests to blueprint components
(other type of option) train slot locks
- Select a large blueprint
- open inventory
- <special key combo click> onto a train wagon locks wagon slots for blueprint-component items
Example 2: Exchange string
Logistic request
- Inspect a large blueprint
- copy the component exchange string (new button)
- open a chest
- set logistic filters by importing the exchange string (new button)
Chest filters
- Inspect a large blueprint
- copy the component exchange string (new button)
- open a chest
- set chest filters by importing the exchange string (new button)
Edge cases
Too many components to paste : fill the filters in the same order the blueprint components are sorted and leave the rest out
....more to come?....
Why ?
Clicking logistic slots many many times can be tedious. It adds another level of quality-of-life for a certain group of players, I imagine.
If the title or something else is wrong, please update it or let me know.

Yes! I saw that post and I wasn't sure whether to reply to the topic or re-create it with my description. I'm unsure how the merging works.
And now I see there's even more mods than I thought. That's a good sign, right?
If merging helps to get this topic more attention, then by all means merge it!
I don't know how to describe the idea/suggestion when there are many ways to implement it. If people are interested, could we use a poll and fill it with the options that come to peoples minds?

request blueprint quantity one time from logistics

TL;DR
I'm going to build a few blueprints way outside the logistics network. I'd like to request the quantities I need and travel light instead of always carrying around enough.
What ?
Drop blue print into logistics request. set quantity as normal.
Robots then bring blueprint parts * qty to you.
Why ?
Carrying around a lot of everything because I might need it is not efficient.
Manually reading a blueprint and setting requests is not easy. lots of back and forth. Actually... I can't go from inventory screen to blue print and directly back, so it's an extra step each time.
