Did you only deactivate your mods ? You need to have a vanilla only installation ^^
/edit: Please don't try forever when it doesn't work twice it won't work at all...

Make sure you're not using any mods (click the
Mods button in the main menu, only the Base mod and Scenario Pack if you have it should be white, other mods should be grey).
If you can reproduce this problem (i.e. it happens on every connect) please post your
Factorio log here or send it to me by PM.

Yes, please don't try too often if it does not work anyway. Factorio is programmed in a way where the game stops for all players if someone joins. And if you take a long time to join (bad internet) or repeatedly try to connect when you always get the same error, it's frustrating for the other players, as they have to wait.

The problems seemed to be that he also disabled the scenario pack in the mods dialog.

Interesting. Yes, the scenario pack was enabled when I created the map on my local pc, but I don't think this is the issue as the server doesn't have the scenario pack at all and in the past nobody has encountered issues with that. Also disabling/enabling the scenario pack has no effect when loading/saving maps in singleplayer (replay is still functional) and the scenario pack is not showing up on the load map screen, so if that is the cause I think that would be a bug.

yea, i had scenario pack deactivated cause i thought it was working without it, but apparently after i activated it, it worked.

I love the big ocean, we should not change that, its amazing. I would like to take mods to make it more challenging and longer lasting (RSO and maybe bobs).

Yes we could do mods, if anyone has ideas for mods please post them here. Don't pick too many as I want to keep the mod count low, maybe 1 main mod and 2-4 utility mods.

adds improved versions of almost every machine and a few more features (extended reach, less dark, ..)
In my single player I also use:
- autofill
- rso
- advanced logistics system
- blueprint-string
- research-queue
- pocketrepair
- filtered-deconstruction-planner
- landfill
- minable rock

I actually have 20 hours on a singleplayer savegame with your mod, so it will probably be Mmod (my other choice would be 5dim).
Landfill also would go well with the map I've been thinking of, as Loewchen wanted some more water

yea, the big ocean is amazing, but please add landfill xD, we have in the actualt 6 oil fields we cant get to :/

Daniel, can u give some of us that play quite some time on server, the ability to kick players?
There was a guy that literaly stole resources then ordered the logistics system to place random belts arround the base (as he said "Carpets are soft").
i had to clear base TWICE, and some buildings i couldnt remember how some people like kaZ or Leowchen build it.
The player that did this was a player called "." (literaly only a "dot").
Please find someway to fix this kind of players
I love this server like most people that play in it do.

I've abandoned the current map due to many desyncs and desync-loops.
The new map includes the following mods:
- Mmod - adding a lot of new and better tech and many research upgrades
- Marathon - to balance out the OP-ness that Mmod is
- Landfill - The map consists of many small islands
See the first post for details.
I'm not against adding further mods if it enhances gameplay, but not right from the beginning.

Do you guys want to continue the old map or try this new one? Although the old one runs the risk of desync-loops.
I've been considering lately adding a second server, so we have one for vanilla and one for mods, but that will take some time to set up.

I'll be going back to vanilla on this one, then set another one up for modded. Sorry for the abrupt changes.
Do you know why you desynced when connecting PandaGOD? Have you changed any of the mods settings?

No Daniel, the first time i tryed to enter i forgot to activate landfill, then i activated and entered server, but i got desync twice, no idea why. i could give u the desync report if u want
