Every other game has this option. I hope this basic feature is added when the expansion comes out. Lot of thin-and-light 4K laptops now that lack the performance to play at 4K.

+1 to this request. I’m playing on a 2015 MBP—which actually works great—in 1280x800. It lags pretty badly in the default resolution of 1440x900. But it’s a pain to go to System Preferences to switch back and forth whenever I play or quit Factorio. Most games allow this feature natively, and it would be very useful here!
