Again, this discussion is now irrelevant as power poles now shouldn't be destroyed.

I think they didn't touch biter pathfinding for a very long time.

The "stuck" detection was changed to ensure that a biter can indeed not move before attacking, but while this makes it less likely, it is still possible they attack poles.
