Performance goes down in this version?
in 0.15.7 all was good
in 0.15.9, same savegame, UPS is between 15.1/15.9
steam doesn't let me downgrade to 0.15.7 ...

Only downgrade to 0.15.6 possible => other savegame of same map some hours ago, same mods => UPS is ~ 55
So there is something wrong. How could I help to solve this?

Bots prefer to put items in storage chests that already contain an item of that type, they'll prioritize that (to keep the storage chests organized). So if you plop down a storage chest for wood and want bots to use it, just drop a unit of wood in it. That should cause them to use the local chest.

Aww man, I ride trains with the gui open all the time but missed 0.15.8. I've not gotten a single game crash yet!
And you guys call this software not ready for release. You should really try harder then!

The same savegame in 0.15.9 is ~ 17 UPS.
I have save and mod directory attached.

The same savegame in 0.15.9 is ~ 17 UPS.
That is massive difference. Thanks for the save and mods, I see similar results on my computer. We will look into that.

Seems like Storage Chests are majorly broken in 15.9
This might not have been an issue in 14.x but now that the yellow science pack is needed before we can get active requester chests, this bug is making the whole robot system kinda frustrating to use.
Note below, the error message saying the storage network is full.
Then note the empty storage chest
Then note the 9 construction robots sitting there with cargo.
(Note, per an earlier post I also tried putting a piece of wood in the chest - no luck)

Do you have a personal roboport? Are those potentially from a stationary logistic system?
I've had 'helpful' construction bots from an outpost remove things when my personal bots weren't enough. The result was them standing around till I put down a storage chest
near the stationary roboport.

Are you sure the chest was inside the logistics range? Note that the con-/destruction range is bigger, so you may have misplaced the chest.

Yea, that chest is outside of the orange logistics range - that's why the bots don't go for it. Move it slightly, try again.
Anyone notice any odd Biter behaviour with this version by the way? I've noticed some Biters tend to become seperated from their attack horde and just end up wandering around aimlessly while their buddies get cut down by the turrets (they are not near any Biter base, but also not near any part of my factory). Not really worth a bug report I think since it doesn't really do anything other then leave a mess of lonely biters at random places. Nothing that a few wellplaced tank shells won't solve.

I've noticed some odd biter behaviour in this version.
I made a bug report for it because I had a lot of biters frozen in place on the map, that is unless my player is nearby. I was doing lots of blueprinting in the zoomed in map view around the time (which I love btw!)

Quite excited to have finally contributed a bug to the game! I for one find them extremely rare!
