Never used that one, i am using f mod, however game loads fine after removing rail layer and not the other way around. Removing the saves also doesnt do it.
edit: i get the same error with a clean install using only rail laying mod

				I took a peek into the mod and indeed, you are right. For some strange reason, it tries to use graphics from the Floors mod for some of its contents which is causing the crash. Installing the Floors mod should fix this issue until the creator of this mod releases a patch.

I tried deleting the version number so it is "rail-layer.zip" and also tried just unzipping it and putting the folder in the mods directory with the same result.

Oops. I was using graphics from my other mod for debugging purposes. I deleted it from control.lua but forgot to remove it in data.lua.
Hopefully third time is the charm and 0.0.5 works

				It works like a charm! I like hopping the train and riding the rails to see where I end up, far far away. I can't drive there because my car can't get through the forests, so it's a great way to sightsee.

				Somehow, i still get an error message, stating that "Path __rail-layer__/graphics/rail-layer-01.png does not match any mod"

				Mod loaded fine for me in 0.10.2... but it's not really working. Rails are layed only with a huge delay (more then 10secs) and seemingly at random (sometimes i get a turn although i'm driving straight).
Still, a very promosing mod, pls pls continue to work on it. I love the idea.

				Weird; it's working OK in 10.2 here. It might be an input thing, rail direction is controlled by the mouse and not by whatever direction you happen to be driving the train.

Unzipping and/or downloading v0.0.6 should hopefully fix this error.

Game will crash if base isn't loaded before rail-layer, but that shouldn't happen. What game version was this on?

Hmm, now that Calico mentioned it, i think i noticed some lag during the v0.0.5 with game v0.10.1
I had a few "hickups" like he said, where i couldnt place a straight rail, while the machine wanted to put a curve.
Nevertheless, after the game updated to 10.2 , and you did 0.0.6, it goes smooth as silk, as far as my game goes no delays in placement, or weird behavior whatsoever.

This is related to the new train lights introduced in 0.10.2. What game version are you using? If not 0.10.2; try upgrading. Or you could try an
