I checked it out and there is no error in the rail path finding. The problem is in your railroad setup. It is not obvious problem though. Checkout the attached screenshot. That is a situation that happens often in your railroad. Both semaphores are green, but they are both single direction only! That means that no train can pass through this segment. You need to align them so they are exactly opposite each other (blue marker will appear when you hover over them).

After I fixed like 10 places like this the train started working normally.

We should visualize this somehow. Make it really obvious that the signal is one way only or two way.

ok I think I got it. But why is this a problem? I don't get why a signal automatically sets the direction a train can pass

please implement something, that signals check the way until the next signal. Doesn't matter which way it's pointing
