could you please shorten the name on the mod portal?

Yes, the name on the mod portal matters a lot, not least because Reddit has a comment bot that allows you to link to mods on the portal (like so: you write "link mod: FARL" into the comment and then the bot comes and replies with a link to the mod; so it's important that the mods have easy to remember names).

Well you can write
linkmod: copy settings
if you want to. The bot does a portal search and takes first result.

And the long name hiding the latest-update-filter ingame?

I will have a look at this, but I found that it was nice in this huge mod list to understand the overall goal of each mod (the title is not always obvious or self explaining), without having to click on it and view the precise description.

I don't know reddit very well. could you send me a link to a page showing this problem ? (because I do not find anything with google)

can this also copy-paste wires on identical set ups? (e.g a Filter inserter wired to a chest). I suppose perhaps it could look to check that a) each entity in the paste area that is the exact same type as each entity in the copy area has the same entities in the same relative position as the copy template, and if so then wire them up like the copy template.

I would like to roll a refinement out to my furnace array. Currently I am faced with two options: 1) individually deconstruct 200 chest/filter inserter combos and slap down the revised one, or mass deconstructing the area and pushing out an updated blueprint (then I would rather annoyingly have to re-copper wire a few hundred power poles)

my tool is just a "multiplication" of the classic copy settings existing in factorio (ctrl-right-mouse, shitf-right-mouse). This factorio feature does not copy wires, so my tool neither... But I will look if I can do something.

Hmm well I think I may have found a substitute for my specific problem (filter deconstruction planner mod).

I expect my request might be quite tricky so understood completely if it ins't something you want to pursue. Batch pasting settings is hella useful already so very grateful already

Yes, your demand is a little of of the scope of my mod which works on a single object as source of the copy, not taking its surroundings into account. Your demand is more in relation with blueprints (factorio blueprints take care about wiring and other relations between objects) and I suppose that the deconstruction tool, working on blueprints, will do the job.

Not sure if anyone asked you this but would it be possible to paste whole settings from one area (assembler recipes, filter settings of filter inserters, maybe adjustable inserters settings) to another area?
