As Mr. Turret:
- Run down the 3 transport belts and grab all iron plates from the chest
- Craft an offshore pump
- Try placing the offshore pump
- desync!
Just had the same thing, two person multiplayer, I was the one hosting. Glad that one will be fixed in the next release.

On 0.13.3 and 0.13.2 we've narrowed it down between 2 save games (29 hours 52 minutes in and 31 hours and 13 minutes in(so about in about a 1 hour and 20 minutes time span)) and as far was we know nothing significant has changed, on the lasted save where the desync happens all 850~ logistic robots are flying about.

So this still occurs on 0.13.3. I'm on a server with a friend (hosted on my PC) and it desyncs and finishes. Then it desyncs again instantly. I'm on a Linux machine and he's on windows. I can't find the desync report but I've posted the factorio-current.log which was in /home/user/.factorio/ which references desync. Thanks :)

I too just wanted to try 0.13.3 MP for the first time,
played with a friend a few minutes and then I got into a desync loop where my friend desynced, joined again, loaded the map, desynced...

Vanilla 0.13.3, played a few minutes offline, then started a default MP map, played a bit with the friend and didn't even have electricity yet.

Also no desync report was generated in %appdata%, but the normal log is attached here.

As Skami said, loading the desynched-level.zip works! But we found that holding either Rail signals, Rain chain signals or Train stops in your hand (ready to place) it triggers a desync. Blueprinting existing signals/stops and using construction robots to place them avoids the desync, it seems.

To avoid the desync loop when the client has redownloaded the map, we have to spam Q (to clear picked up item from cursor).

Desync reports with a combination of offshore pump, rail signals, rail station in ur hand as if your going to put it down and the client holding the item in the hand as if its going to be placed is the one desyncing and causing a infiniate loop of map redownload. factorio version 0.13.3 no mods.

All of these should be resolved in 0.13.4.

If you're still having issues please make new bug reports with the save file and steps to reproduce.
