What I'd like to see is research for increasing the explosive area of damage for your rockets so you could just fire a bunch of them and knock out all the creepers rushing you at the same time you destroy their base. Right now it seems the only method is to slowly push forward with turrets or risk taking lots of damage trying to switch weapons quickly. Pushing forward with turrets works ok for the campaign but it's very tedious in free play.
