Note: You cannot just "Teleport" items, you need a WORKING space platform in orbit requesting everything you want to teleport from a specific place and continuously launch stuff from the origin location of the items with really expensive rockets + rocket silos, then you need to set all the logistic requests for receiving items at all the landing pads - more effort. Plus, if you are talking about any planet other than Nauvis - the space platform must either have been constructed from that planet or having a working thruster system! This is more effort. It must also have good asteroid defence systems (nuclear fusion/fission power + laser turrets works well) which is more effort. As you can see, it would be very hard to transport items through space. Plus you can already do this - just only to the landing pad on this surface.

agree. It's definitely NOT a teleporter.
Add the price of the rocket, and the weight limit
