Current Wip:Force Field Posts / Question

Post by ludsoe »

Hey guys, I've been working on awesome stuff for factorio. First Weather and now I've turned my attention to force field posts. Energy to defense and yada yada. How ever I keep managing to break factorio. Is there a faster way to contact the developers other then sending PMs on the forums or emails? Id like to communicate faster/easier with the devs, so I don't clutter the bug reports and modding interface sections with a new thread every other day.

Click for Example of Forcefields.
Proof
If you have questions about the force field posts Ill be willing to answer.

Hm. Ask them via PM. :)

In my opinion it's ok to clutter, because - as you have seen - the development is very open, the response is in most cases very fast and the modders learn so about the needs and problems of the others. Making this personal and direct means to go around this process and use a special role, which means, they need more time for you, instead developing the game.

If you have a god enough reason: why not?
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Hm that's true, I was just hoping there was a IRC the devs used or something we can go to. Also I wasn't trying to push myself into some special role. If it looks like that then that's not what i meant.

Forcefield awsome :D
I posted about it in suggestion section https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=6&t=1703
I always wanted to have more hi-tech items in factorio with more futuristic look.

I see my role as moderator to show the opportunities and consequences and to halt the balance between interests, not to hinder doing things.
There is for example an opportunity: If we (the forum members or modders) think that it should be changed, then I mean the devs will change it. It was like so in the past. There is no fixed rule. It's an agile process based on the current needs.
