Plea from slow internet users

I'm trying to update the game, and keep getting the timeout error (less than 1 byte per second transferred in the last 10 seconds). I'll be the first to admit that my internet is terrible. Please believe me that if I could get better speeds, I absolutely would. However, I can stream youtube, netflix, and hulu all at once, so it *should* be up to the task, but it doesn't seem to be.

Anyway, I was wondering if it would be at all possible to split up the updates and install them one at a time. I need to go from 0.16.16 to 0.16.35. As the bar is increasing, I see that each one seems to be its own download file (the farthest I've gotten is 0.16.23 - 0.16.24), so it would be awesome if - after downloading each of those separate download files, it would update the game to that version right there. That way, when I inevitably time out, I can at least start farther ahead on the next try.

Love the game! Hope I can get it to update again someday! :D

In the mean time you could try using a resume-capable download-manager browser plugin and just download the full zip until it's done (if your connection is unmetered at least). Or try using steam, which should have fewer problems with timeouts (i don't use it for factorio, but it should work the same as for all steam games).
