Powerswitch is placed between two connected poles, wired to each, then the poles are disconnected manually. At this point there is an invisible connection bypassing the powerswitch, which may be removed along with intermediate power poles without disconnecting the two networks.
Something is very wrong here (read the file comments):
Setup
Fac_switch_A.JPG (132.82 KiB) Viewed 10327 times
Removed pole on the right
Radar and turret are unpowered. Expect: Both get powered by the accumulator though still closed switch
Fac_switch_B.JPG (165.23 KiB) Viewed 10327 times
Network info of substation
The info shows the substation still thinks its connected to the main grid.

Now I open and close again the switch
Now turret and radar get powered some how...

Network info of substation again
...but the accumulator in the system does not get depleted -> free infinite power.

I have the same problem

Haven't tried it with 0.13.1 but I had similar issues in 0.13.0
networks

When maps runs longer 1 sometimes disconnects 2 as well, 2 can connect one als well (they are separated). Can be fixed by reloading map.
Edit:

Ok, in there something is really off ...
Grid failure

I have redrawn some of the lines cause the screeny got quite small
Blue 1 = coal power production
Blue 2 = off to main (at the moment so other power production)
Blue 3 = another sub grid
Red 1 +2 = Switches (both off)
Yet, main is still powered.

Was this save file loaded in 0.13.0?
Can you reproduce the issue with a fresh save in 0.13.1 or a 0.12 save loaded in 0.13.1?
If so, please upload those associated save files and steps to reproduce.
0.13.0 had map corruption issues which could cause all kinds of problems (like these).

I just rebuild my setup that was made original on a .13.0 save completely new in 13.1 and I can replicate the issues I stated before (no power transfer from accu to radar through closed switch upon removal of pole; wireless connection of the two power networks (accu and main grid)) the assumption that I could create infinite power is wrong, its just the invisible connection to the main grid.
remove pole marked with arrow (now the radar shuts down because of disconnect. Expected: Radar still working as it is still connected to the accu through the closed switch.
open and close switch (now the radar is working again but it is not depleting the accu as the substation now thinks it is connected to the main grid for some reason)
Bonus: It crashed when I removed the substation but I could not reproduce it, never the less, log:
Graph theory with entire subgraphs becoming nodes and allowing arbitrary connectivity gets complicated. Good luck ironing this out guys!

Confirmed for 0.13.2.

Hello, I fixed the internal logic of electric network merging related to powerswitch connections, so this probably shouldn't happen anymore, If it happens in 0.13.3, let me know.
