  • What did you do?
Started building radar outposts to uncover more of the map
  • What happened?
When supplying exactly 300kW (5 solar panels) to a radar it requests 320kW
  • What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected it to draw exactly 300kW instead of more than it says it should
  • Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Always when initially powering it up, if you oversupply energy it no longer needs more than 300kW OR if you attach a big enough power storage it also no longer draws more than 300kW
5 solar panels 60kW each can't seem to fully power a single radar
with 5 solar panels

Similar to 125970, the entity is trying to “catch up” to the steady-state consumption rate; but since the charge bar is less than 100% it must “draw” a little bit extra.

Duplicate 111595. It is consuming 300kW but it wants a little bit more to top-up the buffer.
