I also noticed that this mod removes the rail colors from the map. Sorry, but that's a reason for me to not use this. =/

Would love to be able to add some other things for biters to ignore, I tried to copy/paste the code and replace the rails name with the Basic and fast conveyors but i kept getting some error about expecting pair and returning null.

I would love to use this mod but it breaks blueprinting rails which is a major deal breaker.

You can use blueprints fine. Just not blueprints with rails since rails are no longer player owned but neutral force. But I dont expect logic from someone who doesnt understand how capitalization works

Ok, so if it removes player creation flag, how do you pick them back up later? And what if you are on two different forces so that your rails would have to be considered different from theirs to prevent them from taking your rails and such?

The OP states the mod isnt MP tested. So different forces is an 'unknown'

This mod doesnt seem to work with Happy factorio, i disabled the happy textures from happy factorio to make biters stop attacking my rails. Just a warning to future players.

i'm using this mod together with a friend on a server i made, that includes the Farlands modpack. So quite a lot of mods underway there, but i thought, that this would make a nice addon.
However: every type of creeper still feeds on the tracks. Doesn't matter, if i'm nearby or not. They keep destroying them. Any idea?

may be a multiplayer then?
I think it was stated, that the rails are being changed from player built to neutral.
Would it make sense, that in multiplayer player built is not the tag, but instead a player ID/ name, where it wouldn't know how to handle the modifier to neutral?

By anything i mean anything. i even built a mining factory next to a massive nest and left it for 3 hours running constantly. No attacks what so ever.
I have one more idea and ill look into it real fast. Try using only biter friendly rails on a multiplayer game and then retest it in single player (with and without the modpack farlands)

Well as an update:
Both in Singleplayer and multiplayer i left it running for a couple of hours and they didn't attack.
On multiplayer much alter (after about 3-4h) they suddenly attacked. Didn't look like it correlated with any of the misanthrope phases. It was during one of the rare peaceful phases. Even after 10+ hours some of the rails are still intact, while others were attacked.
