I have a problem with field MKII. Whenever the construction bot tries to harvest wood form field MKII, an error message displays:

Error while running the event handler: __Treefarm-Lite__/control.lua:289: Error while running the event handler: __replacer__/control.lua:42: attempt to index local 'stack' (a nil value)

And the game crashes if I press ok, which is just about the only button I can press. I am using the latest 0.14 tree farm lite. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Could you post your mod-list please? For me it seems like that my mod isn't the cause for the crash

Ah now I know what you mean. Unfortunaly afaik nothing has changed since then. What you could do when it happens again is to rotate the cokery once more, then the collision-box will match the visual apperance again.

EDIT: never mind fixed it ;)

I still seem to have the bug that my basic treefarms dont use up fertilizer. I tried putting it in by inserters and manually, but it just doesn't get used up. I made sure that i have the most up to date version of the mod, but still nothing. Am I missing something, or is that bug still a thing?
Anyone else have that issue?

Running Factorio 0.11.22 and Treefarm (light + AC 0.15).

Hi!

I'm using Factorio 0.11.22 and Treefarm (and AC) 0.15 and got a problem with the farm mk2. It will not harvest the trees when they are done growing.
Either I have to manually issue the deconstruct order or click on the farm and deactivate and then activate again. Then it will harvest the mature trees. But then you have to do it again once the new trees grow.

I have roboports within range with robots in it, and as said above the farm is active (this is with a max size farm if that matters)

Not sure exactly what the problem is; downloaded latest treefarm lite and AC; try to launch factorio, and it's failing to open the zip files. Wouldn't open the AC zip, so I pulled that out of the mods file, then it told me it wouldn't open Lite, so I pulled that out and everything else opened fine.

Mod List:

EDIT: Nevermind I redownloaded the zip files and it seems to have loaded fine now :)

Same here. The Trees are grown, but no bot bothers to chop them down.
If it matters i have only one MK2 field near a roboport. more then enough robots (at least both 100 Construction and Logisticsbots free for tasks)
and try to get rubber from dytech trees.
As said Trees are grown but nothing happens.

Edit: False Alarm, but the MK2 mechanic seems counterintuitiv to me. I expectet harvesting as soon as the tree is grown and a bot is free, instead there goes quit a bit of time where does absolutly nothing happen.

I just ran into the same problem. Basic treefarm, accepts fertilizer but doesn't use it.
Shadowmegamod pack with treefarm ligth and AC 0.1.5

[EDIT] OK I think is actually DOES WORK.. it's just that is consumes fertilizer at a VERY VERY slow rate and it looks like there is no progress bar for it (or it doesn't work)... but I had 10xfertilizer and now I have 9.. so I guess it works.

When 2nd player tries to place advanced tree farm in 0.12.1 we get error. Error while running the event handler __Treefarm-Lite__/control.lua:75 attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

Your mod breaks my mod because I use a base game functions that you re-define for your glue gun: "gun_turret_extension".

Please re-define it with a new name.

I could redefine the whole thing in my mod, and that would fix the problem, but I shouldn't have to if I'm just using a base game function.

I can't explain or know why this happens. Could you provide more infos, please?
E.g. happens it everytime or randomly? Does it only happens in a specific (save-)game or even in new games?

Due to the delay in response, I actually re-wrote the routine in my mod myself to fix the issue on my end. I'll leave my fix in there anyway, but thank you for fixing it, it should be useful for DyTech or other mods that it might break that havn't been reported yet.

Factorio 0.12.2 & Treefarm-Lite 0.2.0, no other mods

In single player mode, the game crashes with the error message "Error while running the event handler __Treefarm-Lite__/control.lua:275 attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)"

Not exactly a bug, more I imagine unintended behavior, with the new personal roboports.

With the advanced tree farms marking trees for de-construction, walking around my base, my personal bots fill my inventory with wood.

Is there anyway of making it so your trees can't be harvested by personal bots? Or something toggleable?

I have gotten nearly the same error as well. Here are some additional notes about the circumstances and the exact wording:

1: Fulltext of the Error:

Error while running the event handler: __Treefarm-Lite__/control.lua:289: Error while running the event handler: __upgrade-planner__/control.lua:554: LuaItemStack API call when LuaItemStack was invalid.
2: I have been running the Mk I Treefarms for many hours without issue.

3: The location in question has a single isolated roboport with a few construction and logistics robots, two MKII Treefarms and a couple requester chests.

4: I have been carefully monitoring tree growth since the error cropped up. The error appears to occur at the instant the first mature tree reaches full growth and is marked for robotic harvest.

5: The error does not occur if I disabled the mod "Upgrade Planner".

I can provide a save file on request. I have one that is saved just moments before the error appears. Let me know if you need any additional information!
