Sorry for the delay on this one... I procrastinated because I was playing Factorio.

This is a huge update because so many mods that were considered 'complete' had to make changes to become compatible with version 0.12, so this is also an opportunity to showcase a lot of mods I haven't covered before but have useful niche applications or are very popular amongst people on the forums.

Updates are split into two sections - officially updated mods from the original authors, and unofficial updates made by people who wanted to see an old or abandoned mod brought over. It's a good idea to check the thread in both cases to make sure there aren't any showstopping bugs. I've tried to cover those where possible but I may have missed some.

Circuit GUI - Adds a new lamp with the ability to write messages to the console.

Color Coding - Adds colour-coded trains, lamps and concrete floors.

Dark Matter Replicators - Create items out of nothing but energy.

Yes, another fork of the original Replicators mod. This one was begun before darkshadow/doublespin's version, but never released since they published theirs first. However, seeing as they haven't released a 0.12 update yet, TempiDrachen has cleaned up his draft version and released it to tide people over.

Electric Furnaces - An electric upgrade for the stone furnace and an advanced electric furnace.

Evolution Factor Indicator - Displays time of day, evolution factor, and total playtime.

Have medium biters spawned yet? Big biters? Behemoth biters? Take the guesswork out of strategic planning. Get this mod and know precisely how doomed you are.

Expanded Tools - Adds new mining tools.

Greenhouses - A specialised building for producing raw wood for your factories.

Harder Energy - Reduces the power obtained from all fuel sources and solar yields.

Hazzard's Gravestones - Drops a chest when you die with all your items safely stored in it. Multiplayer only.

There is/was a mod like this for Minecraft. Came in very useful when spelunking near lava, as I recall. This one will be more useful around railways, I imagine.

Hebrew for Factorio - Hebrew translation for Factorio.

Klonan's Early Game Mods - A collection of Klonan's mods, focused on early game infrastructure.

Logic Belts - Adds belts whose direction can be controlled using the circuit network.

Uses a lamp for control, just like Rail Logic below.

Minable Rock - Lets you mine large rocks.

What it says. Lacking a bit of polish at the moment, but you don't have to shoot inconvenient rock outcroppings anymore.

PocketBots Start - Starts you out with a personal roboport and some extra materials for a quicker start.

Another mod to remove about an hour of busywork with burner miners and pickaxes. Specifically includes a basic modular armour and equipment to run a personal roboport, as well as a few basic techs researched already.

Rail Logic System - Rail switches using circuit network logic.

A clever mod making good use of the new mechanics available in 0.12 for controlling trains.

Reverse Factory - Allows you to disassemble constructed items back into their ingredients.

Based on the older Recycling Plant mod. It can dynamically generate its recipe list allowing it to support mods in theory, but this has only been tested on basic mods and a limited set of larger ones like Yuoki's Industries and DyTech. YMMV.

RoboStats - Provides statistics on your logistic networks.

A request from DeamonEngineer for his Twitch LP, this mod prints a text readout of roboport and bot counts in your game.

Side Inserters - Adds inserters that use 90 degree arcs instead of 180 degrees.

Small Manufacturng Unit - A 2x2 assembler/furnace unit that runs on fuel. Can only make recipes that use a single ingredient.

TrainStats - Provides statistics on your train network.

Another Twitch request from ColonelWill, this mod prints a text readout of all things train-related in your game.

Upgraded Electric New solar panels and accumulators, and an upgraded roboport.

5dim's mod - A large group of mods to add more content across all areas of the game.

Air Filtering - A building that helps reduce the pollution put out by your factories, at the cost of coal for filters.

Atomic Power - Nuclear power generators.

Blueprint String - Lets you save and load blueprints between savefiles.

Bob's Mods - Changes to just about everything, really.

Bucket Wheel Excavator - A massive mining excavator.

Burner Assembly Machine - An assembly machine you can run on fuel.

Command Control - Remote factory management.

For some reason this release is packed as a .rar, so you'll have to extract the mod to your mods folder or recompress it as a zip.

Compression Chests - Chests for storing nigh-infinite amounts of one item.

Cyber Chest - New building, automated crafting.

Default Request Amount Change - Changes the default request amount when configuring new items in logistics chests to 1.

DyTech - Large-scale changes, rebalances and additions to vanilla gameplay.

Easy Belt Layer - Automatically rotates belts to follow the direction you lay them in.

Equaliser Chests - Connecting chests that will balance the volume of their contents with each other.

Explosive Termites - Rapid deforestation. Leaves no wood behind.

Galactic Trade - Trade items through special chests.

Filter Inserter - Adds the original version of the smart inserter back into the game.

Fluid Void - Adds a pipe that removes any fluid from itself every 5 seconds.

Landfill - Landscaping mod.

Large Filterable Chests - Upscaled storage chests with filterable slots.

Larger Inventory - Doubles the size of the player's inventory.

Lootable Rocks - Large rocks drop resources when destroyed.

Marathon - Reduces yields, increases costs, just generally makes the game longer.

More Light - Removes player torch but increases light radius. Designed for LPs and streaming.

Natural Evolution - Tweaks bug evolution rate.

Ore Expansion - Ore density increases the further from spawn it is.

Probably best not to use this one with RSO.

Pneumatic Tubes - Long distance underground item transportation.

Rail Layer - Automatically lays tracks as it travels.

Rail Tanker - Adds a tanker wagon.

Resource Spawner Overhaul - Resource generation rebalancing.

There have been a lot of tweaks with this one. The default settings should work fine, but altering them is Here Be Dragyns territory, especially right now. If you don't like the doughnut shaped resource patches, extract the zip file and change use_donut_shapes in config.lua to false.

Shadow's MegaModpack - A large mod compilation.

Stainless Steel Wagon - Adds a new high capacity cargo wagon.

Test Mode - Removes costs for all recipes.

The Fat Controller - Remote train management.

Be warned, there is a CTD bug when using the Train View mode. So don't use that until Factorio is updated.

Time Lapse Mod - Takes screenshots at preset intervals.

Torches & Iron Lantern - Low-tech light sources.

Updated and added a new researchable tier of light source.

Transformator - Electric network segregation/power distribution.

Tree Collision Box - Reduces the collision boxes of trees to make forests easier to navigate.

WaiTex (0.7.0) - HD Texture Pack.

Added the new buildings, removed trees and old turrets.

Yuoki's Industries - Adds numerous new upgraded machines for power generation and storage, among other things.

Advanced Equipment - Adds upgraded versions of all equipment and new armours to put them in.

Update here.

Autofill - Adds fuel and ammunition to vehicles and turrets when placed.

Big Wooden Power Pole - Low tech long distance power pole.

Blueprint Mirror - Allows mirroring of blueprints. Read the forum post for more detail.

Update here. There's some issues with chemical plants and oil refineries, so user beware.

Boxing - Allows you to crate up many commonly-used intermediate items for greater storage density.

Not technically updated (since it inly adds recipes and items, and has no special code) but it's in the 0.12 section so why not.

Dynamic Expansion - Gives aliens behaviour patterns and periodic waves of expansion and aggressive assaults.

Update here.

Evolution - Make aliens that are loyal to you.

Update here.

Factorio Maps - Generates a Google Map of your game.

Partial update. Images are saved, but generated HTML does not show maps, yet.

Faster Hand Crafting - New technology to speed up crafting by hand.

Update here. (Yes it's the same link, I couldn't find the original thread.)

Fluid Barrel - Adds recipes for barreling up all fluids.

Like Boxing, this has no custom code, just recipes and a technology, so it's 0.12 compatible by default.

Item Collectors - Chests that pick up any dropped items in a 50x50 radius.

Update here.

Item Count - Displays a count of items in your inventory matching held item.

Update here.

Mining Drill & Better Ore Storage - New tiers of mining drills and crates for ores.

Update here.

Mo Mods - Assorted mods.

Experimental update.

Nightvision - Adjusts the appearance of nightvision when using the goggles.

Update by orzelek.

No Crafting Challenge - Removes the ability to craft anything by hand.

Update here.

Peace Mod - Removes all enemies, adds an ore for alien artifacts.

Update here.

Resource Monitor Mod - Tracks the remaining resources in selected ore patches.

Experimental update by oLaudix and jorganRe.

Scalar - Proportionally increases all research costs and evolution factors.

Update here.

Time Buttons - Controls for game speed.

Update here.

Treefarm - Growable trees, and a supplementary mod with additional content.

Update here. Disables the glue turret as its code was causing problems for other mods.

Treefarm Addon: Alien Plant - Adds a growable plant that can be harvested for alien artifacts.

Update here.

Tweakmod - Various adjustments to vanilla game numbers.

Update here. Stack sizes for science packs left unchanged, as it caused problems, apparently.

UpGrade - Extended range versions of undrground belts/pipes, power poles and substations.

Update here.

Upgrade With Construction Robots - Allows you to replace constructed buildings/belts automatically using construction bots.

Update here.

Vanilla Expansion - Upgraded versions of various vanilla entities.

Update here.

Void Chest - Chests that periodically destroy an item inside themselves, generating pollution.
