I can't place certain entities on landfill and i don't know why

I need help, which mod does that, i can't place stuff like inserters and pumps , and it messes up my whole island mod playthrough i am really upset.

If someone can help me I would be really happy, I really don't know which of these mods does stuff like this in mod settings there is no setting like "landfill blocks building" and with landfill blocking building stuff on it , island playthrough makes no sense for me, I tried to install the platforms mod but it replaces ladfill with platforms and the message above one is "you can't build where platform is" or something like this, please help!!!

Can you show the error message that you get when trying ? maybe someone will recognize it.
I would try without hovercraft first i don't know why, just seeing the list, many of those mods i know don't create such problem alone, but together one never know ^^^
Otherwise the process i'm afraid is to test with only the first half of the modpack, see if it happens again, try the other half if not, then do with 1/4 of the modlist in the half where you identified the problem, and so on.

sadly removing hovercraft doesn't work, i will try to remove more and more mods and see the answer

Okay I've got the one , asphalt pavings (roads) mod makes certain areas "dangerous" therefore you can't build on it.

Good thing it was one starting with a "A" at the top of the list
I'm surprised because i'm using Asphalt paving (roads) in my current island map and i didn't encounter the problem you describe.
The asphalt tiles have indeed a special behavior though, can't be fast replaced with concrete and prevent some of the dectorio tiles to be placed next to it, but no interaction with landfill for me.
Maybe it comes from an interaction with other mods. It makes it difficult to report it to the mod author.

Alien Biomes adds the resource-layer to landfill for some reason, so if you are using the Don't Build on Ores mod, or anything else that adds the resource-layer to other structures, that could be the cause.
Give your full mod list a try with this mod enabled and see if it fixes the issue for you:

If that doesn't work, then yeah, as mmmPi said, this is most likely being caused by an unintended interaction between mods, because the Asphalt mod in and by itself does not cause that issue.

Please don't put screenshots on 3rd party sites. Attach and inline them directly in your message. Also a list of mods is better as plain text than screenshot. You can copy&paste a directory listing of the mods folder.
PS: You can still edit your first post to do that.

I have experienced the same as OP. Removing Asphalt Roads then allows me to build on Landfill Tiles again. I have not yet determined which of the other mods may be causing an unwanted interaction; still trying to figure that one out. Here is my mods list:
***UPDATE: I have discovered that the problem lies with the mod "Transport Drones on Asphalt." Toggling this mod on/off creates/fixes the problem. I have posted on that mods discussion board for an issue found.

Ok, so it looks like my Tweaks mod didn't help. :/
As mentioned, though, it's not the AsphaltPaving mod in and of itself (see attached image). There's definitely something else having an interaction.
I suggest checking on a new map if this is still an issue (you can use Sandbox to cut down on testing time) and if it is, keep trimming out mods (while leaving AsphaltPaving enabled) until the problem resolves itself. Oh! And check the entities in game... when you mouse over them, the tooltips should tell you which mods have modified them.
If you share a new save file (so it's small (I wouldn't need a whole world)), I could sync my mod load-out to yours and then actually check on the prototypes to tell you exactly why it's happening at least.

Ah! That's great news! I had actually seen that mod recently and was thinking of downloading it. Good to know!!

I did confirm this as well, it is definitely NOT the Asphalt Roads mod at all, it works fine in my game as well (as you show in your screenshot).

Hmm, ok, so I just tested with only Transport Drones, Asphalt Roads, and Transport Drones on Asphalt enabled. I'm not having an issue with those, so it appears there may still be yet another mod that is causing the interference?
Can you get me a simple new save file so I can sync my mod list to yours?

I'm also surprised because i'm currently using Asphalt road, and transport drones on asphalt ( and alien biome ) together and i have no problem building any entity on landfill except for the dectorio's tree but i think this is on purpose.
I have no doubt toggling this on/off fixes the problem in your case, but i suspect the problem wouldn't be there with just those 2 mods and that a 3rd mod in the long list is causing this behavior in "transport drones on Asphalt"

Hey - I'm the author of Transport Drones on Asphalt. Sorry you are having problems and it's weird that they are inconsistent across different people's experiences. Is there some other mod that you have installed that triggers the issues? My initial guess at the culprit would be space exploration, as this mod does weird things with layers and tiles to enforce that land and space buildings never meet. Transport Drones then does even weirder things to allow roads to be built in space. Lastly, both transport drones and asphalt roads do other stuff to prevent some items being built on roads. It is very possible that the interaction of these four mods is causing Weird Things (TM) to happen once my mod glues asphalt roads into the road tiles book-keeping with space exploration, and there is an outside possibility that it is mod-initialization-order dependent.

It doesn't look like either of the people reporting the issue had SE enabled, no.
But this is why I asked them for a save file, so I could sync my mod list to theirs, then I'd be able to tell very quickly what interaction is causing it.

How can i send my savefile ? i have edited one or two mods myself how would that do for syncing them ?
I can send the savefile and my mod folder because i'm not quite sure which mods i had to tweak.
I haven't attempted anything that would interact with tiles, i think ,
i just made some things faster by changing hardcoded values for on_tick things to fit a slower speed.
I am not encountering the problem i didn't thought it could help, i'm playing with asphalt road, transport drone on asphalt road, alien biome and a few others.
