help createing a map poster

hi! first time posting here

So i have a huge map that some friends and i made over the course of some months and we want to create a poster out of it, but we dont know how to do it....

Can anyone help us and tell us / guide us on how to make it ?

I know that we need to use mods in order to make it... but i dont understand nothing about console commands and stuff like that i only know how to intall mods

I wanted to reply that you don't need any mods, you just start the game with the option to make a screenshot. So I looked up the right syntax for it....

Couldn't find it. It's not listed in the help output. Maybe I'm confusing it with the --generate-map-preview option. But you might want to request such a feature. Would be nice to give factorio a savegame and output name and optionally image size, center+zoom factor or corner coordinates and you get a screenshot.

It's just /screenshot, wiki lists it. /screenshot [x resolution] [y resolution] [zoom]

thanks for the info guys, i tryed the /screenshot command but i can't go more than 16384 resolution on a 0.03125 zoom

i've attached the screenshot that i took of just a portion of my base and i want it to look like that... but my whole base with all the little detail

From what I remember screenshot size is limited by what GPU reports as biggest available texture size.
To go bigger you'd need to make tiles and stich them later.
