so i started a new game to try and do one proper play through as i'm a bit of a noob and i keep messing up, so im on all normal settings except that segmentation is low and starting area is big (to make it a bit easier) and i get and hour and 20 mins in and i get this.....

Sorry for you, but I think this "bug" will us make much more fun this year before we get a fix.

Well, then you don't really want the save, you want the map sharing string or whatever it's called...

Unfortunately i rage-quitted and deleted it... Is there a way of recovering it?

There may be a chance to recover the file. Do you know how to do this?

It would be really interesting to create a small island map with very few ressources and then try to make the best out of it without wasting too much resources...

I wish we had some naval mining and enemies and ships, but hey maybe one day right?

if you really want to have a small Island you can get a copy of my wtf savegame
i might still have another one with a really big Island where i had to build cars and use them as some kind of Bridge.
Like Setting a car on another Island which is 1 tile of water away. You can enter the car and whoop you are on the other Island. but you will Need at least one more car in your inventory to get back to your Island. And all cars Need to be destroyed each time you traverse the water.

yes i tried to find it but unfortunately it has been too long
