How many red / red+green techs exist? I guess that's the upper limit for what can be done in 60 minutes.

In v0.10 there's 87. So we still have a ways to go there!
(Although some of those require later techs as prerequisites.)
I actually think the upper limit may be how long the techs take to research. Again in 0.10, but if you manage to research everything in a single cycle it will still take you 40 minutes before you research all red + green tech.

Oh. Setting up a massive red science pack production and a lot of labs (I guess 10 should be enough for a minute or two, but you'll need 50 and then 100 rather soon) within 20 minutes sounds impossible. Not to mention that a massive green science production will be needed a little later. So I'd agree with you, 87 is probably not the real upper limit.
