Have this thing manufacturing red and green science packs constantly. Works pretty well, I guess.
Unfortunately I can't do anything more with it. I need plastic for certain things and the only oil around is two feet from a nest. So... yeah. Looks like it's time to decommission it, or build a ton of turrets.

Looks good, but where is that coal automation? Don't tell me you've been manually feeding that beast.

Didn't have room for coal feeders, and I was going to upgrade to electric furnaces, until I realised I needed oil for plastic.

i bet i can do that. can/will post the map?

How so? Run the coal line parallel with your iron ore, and use long armed inserters to put it into the furnaces.

you have Battery so Laser turret / Electric energy accumulators

Thanks! I didn't even realise there was oil where you're extracting it from. I started playing but then accidentally destroyed a chest which contained a ton, and I do mean a ton, of stone, so I've just quit so I don't have to clean it up >.<

look at your autosave by default save 2 minits so you can go back a bit.
