This looks amazing - how does one use the .dat file that you download to access all this juicy blueprint treasure?

I know how to import strings, but this is the first time I've encountered a singular .dat file to deal with Blueprints. Thanks for helping a newb out!

It seems to be just the raw blueprint storage file from factorio root directory where the game stores them. Not sure why it's .bin and not .dat. Mine is .dat but it might be it's due to running in Linux. Renaming it to .dat worked for me.

I'm not really seeing a clean way to import them besides temporarily moving your own blueprit-storage.dat to a safe place, copy in the file here, run game, copy the blueprint books into your inventory, put back your own original blueprint-storage.dat and move the needed blueprint books from your inventory to your blueprint storage.

That was the theory. Apparently, when I copied back my own blueprint.dat file, I already had all the blueprints from this one in my blueprint storage together with my old ones. It doesn't really make much sense, I would have imagined I had to manually copy them back after switching in my own blueprint.dat. So, use at your own caution. Seemingly it worked for me but don't blame me when something goes wrong.

hi i was looking through your blueprints and i saw a smelter setup you have in the Diverses blueprint book. i kinda like it and wanted to give it a try but your setup is broken. Your arithmetic and decider combinators are not setup. Would you be able to post a pic with how they should be setup maybe? or tell me what each should be set at. thanks
